Program Description

Event Details

Drawing from their experience in undercover operations with ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) law enforcement teams, SOSA will provide a vivid understanding of the dangers of abuse and perpetrators' behavior. Attendees will learn about commonly-used grooming tactics, red flags, prevention methods, and steps to take if abuse has already occurred.

Presented by Jennifer Jacquet, Director of Operations at SOSA (Safe from Online Sex Abuse), a New Haven-based nonprofit dedicated to protecting kids and teens from online abuse and exploitation.

This presentation is made possible by a grant from The Community Foundation of Greater New Haven.
