Ban This Book Club: Oryx and Crake

This book has been banned or challenged in 6 states. In August 2024, it was one of 13 books banned statewide by Utah's state board of education, allegedly for its "objective sensitive material.

It was included in a BBC list of the 100 Most Inspiring Novels and The Guardian's list of 100 Best Novels of the 21st century.
