The Court of Thorns and Roses series was one of the most frequently challenged series in 2022, with 36 recorded challenges. The second book in the series, A Court of Mist and Fury was on the 2022 Top 10 Most Frequently Challenged Books list by ALA. A Court of Thorns and Roses is banned in at least one library in Florida, South Carolina, North Dakota, Texas, and Utah.
