Biography
I grew up and attended school in Norwalk. I always had an interest in art and art classes. I attended a school for art in Westport and then pursued a career in mechanical design, using my creativity for original product development design. When traveling, I enjoy visiting museums, especially in major cities. I was a Charter member of the Southport Congregational Church "Art and Soul" group. That encouraged me to pursue my lifelong interest in creating art and
have developed my inherent ability and personal style. I work primarily in oil pastels and acrylic. I am inspired by other works of art, which led me to a creation of my own original style that seems to lean toward Impressionism.
I am currently a member of the Black Rock Artist Group. Currently living in Bridgeport, I enjoy travels to Maine, reading, and sports. I have participated as a member in local choirs, Toastmasters, and the Grange. My work has been displayed at the Open Door Tearoom in Stratford, and at the Easton Public Library, where I am a member of the Easton Arts Council. I have recently been displayed in the Bridgeport Art Trail, Burroughs Community Center, and Milford Public Library.
